I’m in the process of trying to break this lake down from the bank since I don’t have a boat or kayak. Flooded bushes and trees pretty much cover at least half of the shoreline of the lake. Any tips or advice on what to throw or how to go about fishing flooded trees and bushes from the bank? It’s probably worth pointing out that this part of the lake is all but about 5 feet deep.

Personally, I would hit it multiple ways. 1st, I would go top water frog, then maybe something noisy up top. If nothing worked, I would go to weedless jig n pig or chatter bait with a trailer. Wacky rig senko near the bushes or a heavy weed less jig up in the bushes. It looks fishy good luck.
Hey I know this lake! Your best bet will be a Texas rig and drop shot using 3-5” finesse baits on light line/tackle. Green pumpkin color is best all around color on this lake any time of year. Morning dawn and oxblood can work too sometimes. 4.5” and 6” roboworms are great and easy to find, as are any kind of Zoom worms. Walk down the shore line as far as you can, those bank spots get a lot of fishing pressure.
Use 8-12lb fluorocarbon line. Don’t use hooks that are too big/bulky. In terms of weight, anything from 1/16 to 3/16 works great, just fish it slow and gentle.
Try and cast out as far as you can and slowly retrieve it back. Beyond the brush line it drops off to 8-12ft. Can also cast into little pockets in the brush. If the water is only 1-2ft deep, I’d wade out so you can cast further and get it deeper.
You could also skip a fluke into the pockets in the bushes
