It died doing what it loved best, carrying above its weight on the beach’s and docks.
On a separate yet related note, any suggestions for a new summer rod? Salmon seasons right around the corner!

They definately punch well above their weight! I have landed a 20lb+ lingcod and mackinaw trout on my “truck” UgliStick that I probably bought in 1995 or 1996 and it’s still reliable as ever. Short of closing the truck tailgate on one, I’ve never managed to break an Uglistick.
