I enjoy both. Depends on the water, who I’m fishing with, and how much time I have.
If I have 1-2 hours oh fast moving water with a friend who doesn’t know how to fly fish, I’m using my ultralight. If I have all day solo on slow moving water, 3 or 5 weight all the way. Also if I see a hatch popping off while I’m fishing ultralight, I always keep a 12 ft Tenkara and fly box tucked into my fishing vest.
