Decided to switch from the Lew’s American Hero Baitcast combo to a Daiwa Aird X casting rod with a Daiwa Aird 80 reel! First time not buying a combo set as I get more comfortable with the baitcaster! Didn’t see many reviews on the reel but it seems pretty smooth. Caught a fish when I took it out for a couple minutes. The rod seems to be a step up in quality for sure. Anyone have any experience with it?
