Brought home today in a group of bleeding heart tetras but we’re convinced it’s not a bleeding heart and possibly a type of rosy tetra instead? Beautiful fish regardless, phone camera doesn’t capture how bright he is

Looks like a serpae tetra to me. Nice fish, kept them for years.

Looks like possibly Hyphessobrycon bentosi. It’s commonly included with Bleeding Hearts because they look similar and probably live together.
It’s obviously, and I mean obviously, not a serpae.

Not serpae tetra, but a Red Phantom tetra. Pretty and peaceful. They may bicker amongst themselves but won’t harass other inhabitants. They come in a black variety, which is beautiful and yellow, which is pale.
