I drilled a hole in the middle and it did float well on the water. I'm using a quite small hook and jig (1/16 oz) so hopefully the boyancy will be enough. The hole is way bigger than the wire, but I guess since it's going to slip anyway, that should be fine as long as it's smaller than my stopper. My plan was to mimic the slip bobber rig for crappie fishing. Going to test it out next fishing to see if it will work!
What kind of coating would you recommend? I'm now thinking of nail polish or not coating it for now.
