Hey guys! I’m replacing all of the trebels on my jerkbaits and crankbaits to these single hooks (I’ll pinch the barbs). I’ve heard it’s much safer for trouts. The ones on that gold one are size 6. Are they too big? Thanks for the advice!

Those single hooks are way too big. Get ones smaller and thinner, you don’t want to take take chunks out of the fish when you hook them.
Generally the width/gap of your singles should match the widest part of your trebles
These are the [hooks](https://a.co/d/06hBSNBL) I put on all my jerk/crank baits for trout. Size 10 and 8.
I like size 10’s, and I run only 1 hook on my trout lures (in the rear position)
Probably want 8 if that’s a 6
