


It started as an impulse but it’s actually almost perfect. I only carry a small bag and one rod but I’m having a blast. If anyone has some tips or advice I’d greatly appreciate it lol saw a few gators in the lake but the saw me coming and dipped

Paddle boarding? No, there are gators here. They pulled out a 13fter a couple of years ago at one of the ponds I fish at. I’m good.

that looks like florida in which i would not want my legs dangling in the water 🤣 but yes; i paddle fish Lady Bird Lake here in Austin. So convenient compared to my kayak. Grab yourself a Larry Chair and bungee it to the board, so much more comfortable than standing or sitting flat on the board.

Yes. There is a stretch of water called putah creek by me that leads into another body of water called lake Solano.
Both areas have no motor boat rules. My wife has a kayak but I dont like it so I use the paddle board instead when we go there.
A dropshot is a real blessing on a paddle board. Not getting dragged around and knocked off balance by a giant helps alot.
