Got skunked but was mostly trying to get familiar with the new kayak. Never had one with a high position or even a stadium chair before. Hooked one bass but lost it. And already christened the new rig with some scratches from the rocky landing area 😅.

Just got old town 106 and like the “stadium seating”. I haven’t been brave enough to stand yet because the water is dangerous cold, but you get a much better perspective sight fishing, and looking for beds if that’s your thing.
I used a kayak cart for the first time Sunday, parking and launch is 75 yards distance, I wouldn’t drag it and it’s too heavy for me to shoulder. You’ll scratch the heck out of your kayak, that’s a given.
