I found an abandoned broken Tatula XT while bank fishing someone threw away. Funny thing is I was using this exact casting rod paired with my curado.
I took it home and now I’m not sure what to do with it. Someone must have high stuck it and snapped the rod, which is really sad bc I love my Tatula

Strip the guides off the old one so you have replacements should something happen to the ones on your rod?
Give it to a teacher to use as a pointing stick
cut it off just above the reel seat then take your TV remote and hot glue it on to a popsicle stick and stick it in the reel seat.

I keep a dedicated set up for drop shotting worms around docks for bluegill and smaller fish. Maybe rig it up with a button reel and keep some worm hooks and some 1/4oz tear drop weights with it.
Give it to me its no more good
I just use the bottom blanks for spooling up reels
Middle joint? Buy the top half good to go
Turn it into a gaff.
