Nothing. You do absolutely nothing. It’s normal for them to make bubble nests.

This post and your comments scare me. PLEASE DO NOT BREED BETTAS! Only experienced betta keepers should attempt breeding, it takes a ton of research, time, and money! I’ve had 2 females since November and as much as I’ve grown to love bettas and would like to eventually breed them, I know that I SHOULD NOT even attempt it until I have more experience! Box store bettas are already basically bred to death and they’ve developed so many issues from inbreeding and overbreeding. It is not as simple as adding a female and then they mate. They CAN and WILL kill eachother especially if they are not compatible and reject eachother! There are just so many reasons why it is not a good idea for beginners or casual hobbyists, betta breeding is complex and is usually done to keep or breed out certain traits, colors, sizes, etc. It’s not something that should just be done casually because it has real purpose and there are people who have dedicated their lives to ethical betta breeding.
Please listen to all of the advice here and please DO NOT try to breed. We aren’t saying it to be mean, we’re saying it for the welfare of the bettas and to prevent a mega headache for you.

“Oh no !” …. Do nothing. lol. Male bettas will build nests and have nothing to do with you. You don’t need to breed him. Based on your apparent beginner level, I would not even attempt to breed.
Unless you have multiple tanks empty for fry and then also individual containers to house at least 50 fish who will all need their own tanks.
Then leaves the question with what you will do with all of the fry IF you managed to breed them. Not many pet stores will take a hundred bettas from you. Most have contracts with suppliers and don’t need your bettas.

Reading your comments. Please do not put another Betta in, one will be killed. Breeding sounds like fun but you need a place that takes your betta fry otherwise you’ll need 30+ tanks to house them in. Bettas will kill each other every time when they are adults.
