I’ve been carrying 3 poles in a backpack and throwing it in the trunk of my car, 2 of the poles come apart. Today I rigged up a treble hook on mine and went to go catfishing. Pulled my pole out, and seen I was missing a hook, no biggie, then I reached for my handle and… nothing there.
I started fishing last year, haven’t been since a kid, and wasn’t even really taught how to do stuff on my own. I went probably 20 some times last year and didn’t catch a thing. Figured out my knots were bad last year and been trying to improve. Kiddo caught a nice 1.5-2 pound catfish the other day, so I know I did something right with her setup. I’ve been probably 10 times this year already and still nothing myself.. could use some advice.
Going to spend a few days at home getting good at knots and about to get a truck anyway maybe this weekend.
