Built a new 5Wt dry fly rod over the winter and needed a new reel for it. Had my eye on those spiffy Battenkill disk reels in anodized colors like olive and even did my wraps to get it all to match. Get my reel today and…"Made in China". ..dammit Orvis it's a $250 reel and it's made in China? I coulda got a Lamson Liquid for $100 less for that.

I believe most Lamsons are made in S. Korea. Unless you’re getting a flagship reel, few are making fully in USA.
