I don't want to be under feeding him. I only feed him every other day because there are quite a few shrimp with him which I've seen him attack. Because of the diamond eye, I have him in a 3gal, so I'm very conscious about bioload

I’d say he looks a little skinny according to that chart. I feed mine at least twice a day or they will eat shrimp. 🦐
Your fish is almost there! The shrimp snacks are definitely helping fill him out… what a pretty baby!
