Going to Alaska next month, which other flies should I bring?
From the big box to the small box. Mainly targeting trout, dollys, and grayling on my 8. Also getting some bigger streamers and clousers

Where you going? If there’s a way to share pics I can show you the flies I use in alaska

Bring them all, dry flies for graying. Not much on dry for trout. Not alot of 25 inch trout breaching for drys. Big boys are eating flesh, beads, streamer, dolly Lamas

Need a lot of egg flies and “flesh flies”
Both are essentially just yarn, but it’s what I caught a lot of when I was up there.

Know nothing about Alaska, but how you like that magnet section on the larger fly box?

Haven’t been up there that early but the grayling were suckers for #14 Black Perdigons with a fl. orange hotspot and a red rib when I was up that way.

Weighted flesh flies and bead eggs or globugs… look up how to rig “steak and eggs”. Also dolly llamas. Both setups worked very well for me
