Betta Fish: He’s happy

I was concerned my new betta was unhappy in his new home because he seemed restless and was hanging out at the heater a lot for the last week or so. This morning I woke up to a cute little bubble nest that he’s guarding! So I guess he was just broody and trying to find a good spot?
I’ve been feeding glass worms (white mosquito larvae) this week and read that they can stimulate breeding behavior. I’m glad that he seems to be accepting the tank and figured it would suffice to raise a family in there 😉
