Hi, could someone please tell me if this kind of flow is enough for a 20x20x30 tank for a Male Betta by himself? I need help with this as a first time betta keeper. Edit: it’s a 3 gallon tank

I’d put something under so it spreads the flow (like plants or wood right under the waterfall) and it should be ok. Also a 5gal would be the minimum size for a betta 🙂 but what you have right now is certainly better than a cup. Please do consider looking into a bigger tank when possible!

Itty bitty baby sized filter for a *30 gallon tank I’m assuming that’s a typo since my 10 gallon is 10x20x10

Ugh be careful with these filters with the surface skimmer – a few of us have lost bettas from them getting curious about what’s down that tube. You wouldn’t think they can fit but somehow they do 😕

Get a bigger filter if you can. Beware of that surface skimmer, curious fishes might dive in them.
