My (brand new) line developed this break right where the loop weld ends after my first time using it. I’ve seen people on other threads talk about forming a new loop or using aqua seal to fix it. What’s the best option here? The break seems to extend into the core which I think it concerning.

Look up fly line welding on the ole YouTube.
Try taking it back for shop credit if you only used it once. Otherwise replace it. Not worth losing a fish.
Cut it off, Make a new loop with amnesia.
loops suck, clip it and learn to tie a nail knot.
Just weld it. Easy peasy, just watch a few videos and take your time
