About a year ago I lost a rod and reel combo on an ill fated river kayak trip. The combo was purchased somewhere in the 90s So far I can tell it's a Quantum-lite I remember this was a fairly beefy rod Felt like a Medium/Medium Heavy action, about 7 or so feet long, A t-bar handle, there was a switch on the front to reverse the gear direction. The only numbering I can pull from the two pictures I have look like LT6 but all the research I've done says there wasn't an LT6 model and none of the other Quantum-lite models I've searched look the same or they lack the T-bar handle. This was an all stock rod and reel combo it still had the original Ziptie holding the reel in place.

I know the pictures aren't much to go on, but honestly any direction towards maybe identifying the combo would be a lot of help.

  1. What’s your goal? That was not an expensive combo back when it was new, and doesn’t have any value today. Are you hoping to buy a similar spec’d combo?

Quantum lite QLS70M rod, Quantum QL3 lite reel. Had to share: I lost my old mid 90’s 7ft fenwick eagle rod paired with a daiwa 300 tatula. Placed rod front of kayak while I was taking a picture of a fish I had caught. Made the mistake of letting the lure dangle 20 ft below kayak and fish eat lure and dragged rod and reel into the water. I dream of that combo every time I’m on the water. Sry for your lose. I feel your pain
