Just bought him and put him in my already set up fishtank but it seems to be thin near to the end behind his its stomach is it swim bladder and if so what should i do. Also i need a name for him

I think he just needs clean water. I just bought a betta floating at the top with swim bladder. The ammonia was deep teal, beyond 80ppm and the nitrite was grimace purple. I thought it would be a challenge to rehabilitate him but within a few hours he was swimming normally. I do feed him small amounts often because like yours he’s a tiny bit skinny and still growing.

Look like he’s on the thin side. Don’t worry, he’ll fatten up with you 😉 Just feed him appropriate amounts of food.
