Of you fish bare bones? No LiveNope, no depth finder, no electrics. Just knowledge and plain olé fashin. Motor, that is cool. Just curious.

I would assume most…tbh yours doesnt even look that “bare bones.” I go out in a 10 foot Pelican ultimate with nothing but a paddle, one rod and whatever lure happens to be on that rod at the time

I’ll bring six outfits with me, only two in the water at most. Then again I fish the Great Lakes and can change up when they aren’t cooperating.
Downscan, when Livescope drops under $1k I’ll probably switch, single blade paddle.
I guess technically by your question I can’t say I do. But I only use a depth finder to make sure I’m not beaching my trolling motor on my autopilot 120. It’s just a 73CV so I don’t have side view either.

I stressed the cord on my Garmin Striker 4 last year. Haven’t replaced it, been doing just fine. I actually caught my new PB this year (8.86lb LMB)! I kinda miss looking at the graphics, tbh… my new strategy has been to troll from zone to zone. When I bust one on the troll, I’ll spend the time to fan cast the area, then proceed to the next. Seems to be working for me. I’m averaging smthg 4-5lbs on the troll. I really surprised myself last week, caught (didn’t land) a Needle Nose Gar (on the troll, probably 3′ long, 20+ lbs). It sawed the line b4 I could get control of it. Gonna be working the docks on the next outing, as they’ve started letting water back in. We’re in a draught in GA rn tho. The water is still 7-10′ below full, all the good structure is still beached… ugh!

I used to troll holding the rod between my legs paddling a Manitou ocean yak almost every day I could for a few years.
