Went to academy on friday to buy some lures and I saw this Zebco 5'6" telescopic rod for 20 bucks so I said why not? I also bought the Shimano Sienna reel for 35 dollars.
I wasn't really expecting much given how cheap it was but I was actually pleasantly surprised.
I caught abunch of Bluegill and other Sunfish that swim around my local state park. Almost as many as I would with my regular rod and reel. It didn't cast anywhere near as far as my regular setup though and it felt alot more stiffer *pause* to use. Also didnt get to catch any of the bigger bass like I usually do but I'll just chalk it up to an unlucky weekend. Overall I was pretty happy with it.
Ps. Apologies for the dark photo, "One more cast" turned into me leaving at almost 9pm.
