Looking at picking this up for $75 CAD. I want to use it for lake trout and salmon on Lake Huron. New to down rigging and don’t know a ton. Will this be sufficient with a 10-15lb ball? (I don’t mind the exercise part)

You just need to find out what the published limit is for those. 10lb is usually find for most standard size riggers. 15 starts to get a little spicy.
