How is my tacklebox? Saltwater fishing the MS gulf coast off piers and the beach
Spent an hour or so trying to put everything away in a way that makes sense.
Been fishing a few times and I havent caught anything yet. But I think im set up for success

It’s fine, that’s just mostly bass stuff.
I fished Biloxi for a week once. it’s pretty abysmal fishing around there as far as Gulf fishing goes. The fishing is so slow down there, it’s a pretty terrible place to learn to use lures.
You need to be using live or fresh dead bait, especially if you’re new. You could be doing everything right with lures and still not catch fish just because of location.
That area is the slowest, most brutal fishing I’ve ever done in the Gulf. 4 hours soaking live mullet we caught right there on 3 different setups to catch one very small redfish. Only saw 1 shark the whole week and even the shark didn’t want our mullet.

Get those plastics into a Plano plastic case or bag em cause after a couple hot days your gonna have a plastic sludge mess
