Couldn’t pass up some reels on sale. Planned to get a bunch more but got cart sniped. All are incredibly smooth out the box and almost silent. Time will tell how the Vanford line roller holds up. The hard part is finding rods. I have an excel sheet with about 40 rods I’m looking at. 😮💨

Did your order get held in customs? My last three have all been pulled for inspection and it’s been a real pain
Ive given up on this gen of vanford because of the line roller issue. I had a 2500hg usdm and a 2000s jdm, and both had noisy ass line rollers out the box that a clean and relube did not solve. I didnt want to go through the process of getting bearings and everything so I returned the 2500, and sold the 2000s.
