I'll be going to Bretagne, France (West Coast) in late summer early autumn. It's very rocky with huge tides.
I need a carry on (either in suitcase or able to carry on and store above) travel rod recommendation to use for inshore fishing off the docks, harbours, jettys, and rocks. I'm thinking using mostly lures for this.

9-10 foot travel surf rod. Choices are limited for fitting inside a suitcase, but St. Croix has a 4 piece Triumph Travel Surf. There’s JDM options as well, like Shimano Colt Sniper, Nessa, and Dialuna that come in 3-4 pieces. These can get pretty pricey though for something you are only using a few times.
What’s your budget? Transcendence specializes in very packable travel rods (jdm).
