Hey guys just looking for some input there isn’t as much online for the snails as there are fish… I have a mystery snail and I’ve noticed him developing these scale-like deposits? Or something ?
Hoping for some input as to what is wrong, if anything, with my snail.

A nerite snail layed eggs all over the shell and they were scraped off
That is definitely not a mystery snail. I thought it might be a limpet but a quick Google search says they don’t get that big.
Looks like a species of Nerite snail. You’ve got a female Nerite in the tank with this one, and she’s laid eggs on this shell (the white deposits are just the remains of em)
The eggs won’t hatch in freshwater so u don’t have to worry about overpopulation, they just leave these marks behind. Bit of an eyesore but that’s all 🙂
That’s a nerite snail with the remains of nerite egg pods on their shell. They’re fine.
