I got this fishing rod/reel from my father after he passed away along with some other, and was curious if these reels are worth using?
Seems like zebco is a bit in the cheaper end of things, I'm curious to know.

Sorry for your loss man, those vintage reels from father are always special 🙏 The XRL37 was actually pretty solid back in the day – not their cheapest line at all, more like mid-range workhorse that could handle most freshwater stuff. Definitely worth using it, especially since it has sentimental value 😊
