Don't hold fish like this was my first bass since starting the hobby in 2 years. How else you supposed to clean the weeds off? Looks like I'm crushing it but it's enough to keep fins down it felt like. The weeds I caught probably weighed as much as the fish!

Does this hurt the fish?
At least you can lip a Bass (the lighter ones), then hold them level if you are taking a pic with them. I wish it were that easy with a Walleye. I still struggle trying to figure that out. Too many spikey things
