The boy was asking me if we could toss him one, but I said he’s a good enough fisherman he can catch his own.

when I was a kid I’d toss them a bluegill here and there hahaha. Its awesome to watch them devour the entire thing in one gulp.
Eventually they do become pretty pesky and sit around waiting for you to catch something if you give them enough fish, they even became pretty aggressive and stealing the fish straight off the dock lol.

Best to throw them panfish that bass would be too big for him, I had a friend throw a heron a bass this size and the heron just stabbed the bass with its beak a few times tried to eat it then just walked away when he couldnt
