I have been practicing texas rigs for a while, and while this is my best, it still is not perfectly straight. Am I overreacting? Is this good enough?

Im using the hooks in the photo

I’ve found that fish thoroughly inspect the straightness of a senko before biting, you def need to practice this for 8 hours a day over the next year before they will bite.

    Reality, looks fine.

Looks fine to me but if it really matters that much to you when you first pierce the plastic go in with the hook just a little more so a little more plastic is covering the eye that shpuld fully straighten it out

That is how it is designed. Looks good! This hook will allow for a weedless and snagless retrieve. All this while ensuring the hook will set. As pressure is applied to the bait the hook is revealed. Looks good, good job.

If you still want it straight, You might be looking for a trout hook?

If I can offer one suggestion – give it some additional space on the top so you can pull the plastic over the knot and eye. I noticed that if my TRig ever picks up weeds its on the knot or eye. You also have a little wiggle room for a rip or tear if you want to min/max your soft plastic usage.
