I like to fish for little sunfish when there's not much action from the catfish lol

Same thing I do, keep them for bait.
I built a holding tank in my garage made from a deep freezer. Filter on the end of the hose in the tank. Marine AC run-dry water pump, 5 gallon bucket with a bio filter (helps with water changes) , inkbird temperature controller. I keep the water around 44* typically, I normally have big creek chubs, during flathead season its full of bluegill and trout though.
