Got Neil the spiny eel about a month ago and have been away for two weeks so haven’t been able to observe him much over that time, he seems a lot more pale then when i brought him home and is glass surfing a fair amount. other than that he’s eating from my tweezers, sitting in my hands and is generally not fearful of me at all. Is he stressed out or just a crazy little guy doing the same things as his khuli loach cousins. This is a fairly new tank but i slammed it with seachem stability and i don’t have any ammonia readings and nitrates are under 20 so I’m not too worried about water parameters. Had these guys in the past and they were always extremely timid and i barely ever saw them however this is the first time i’ve had one in the tank before adding the community. I’m hoping he’s just an outgoing guy begging for food but any advice is appreciated!
