If it’s on there really tight, when you cast a bunch it’ll puff up and take more space. It’s just a little over spooled in my opinion

That would be absolute max. If it’s really tight you may find it to be over spoiled once it loosens up. Just cut a few feet off if that’s the case.

IMO that looks truly perfect. It’s laid out great and is indeed full. l personally prefer a slight over spool on all my reels except my Tranx400, just makes the spool have a bit more momentum upon cast so distance is easier.
Keep it I say, and worst case you remove some as others mention.

The only way to tell is to cast it. If it was overspooled, it wont be after you cut the backlash out.
