Hello! I've been recently been having issues with my Saragosa 5500 where the bail is snapping closed midcast. It happens once maybe every 100 casts? but frequent enough that I am pulling my hair out and good to lose a plug every outing .
Anyone ever experience anything like this with this reel? Any advice on what to look for if I attempt to service it myself?

I haven’t had this issue with my saragosa but I’d recommend opening the bail and then manually turning it bail so it’s above the handle before casting.
I had this happen when I was improperly casting, but I forget exactly what issue it was. Found it through a quick YouTube video though
