Up north the water (some of it, anyway) is beginning to creep above 50*F. My first time out on the kayak since early Nov. It took me a while to locate all my gear!
Was mostly fishing weedless ned rig because I'm determined to get better at that technique. Gave up after an hour and started throwing a Strike King Mini King spinner bait with a teensy Kaitech minnow trailer. Hooked into this guy, big for our midwestern lake! Promptly lost the brand new mini spinner bait on the following cast. 10/10 day.
