What are your specific rod specs and what line will you use? And what gearing do you want the reel to have?
C2000 and C2500 are built on a 1000 body, and work really well with ultralight, light, and medium-light power rods, depending on the rod. These are generally intended for use with a thinner braided lines, as they use shallow spools, and they are limited in the drag force that they can generate. They are generally available in a standard or high gear option.
C3000 and 2500 are built on a 2500 frame and can work really well for a lot of medium-light, medium, medium-plus, and medium-heavy power rods, depending on the rod. They can be available in a lot of gearing options.
