This was the first time I went out on a trout river close to me and caught my first two native and wild trout (I'm in Croatia so they're native). When i got the fly rod recently, i was just fishing for chub and stocked rainbows in a local pond so i am very happy to catch these browns. They aren't huge but I'm far from disappointed. I never had any luck with soin fishing and when i got to fly fishing, I've been catching everything. I got decent and knew basics pretty fast. Now I'm just waiting for the school year to finish so i can start tying my own flies.
