Not enough. But it really doesn’t matter. As long as its tied onto the reel.

Take my post with a grain of salt as I’m just starting out, but, to me, it looks like you could get more on there safely. Most people on here seem to recommend about a 1/8″ gap from the line to the edge of the reel. At least that’s what I did with my new reel last night. Maybe if I’m wrong, someone could correct me so I can fix mine too lol

    it could use some more

also, it looks like the line isn’t tightly spooled onto the reel

you need to reel in the line while the line is under tension

This is not spooled to full capacity, you can add a lot more line.
Respooling would be recommend especially since the line seems to be very lose and not spooled under enough tension.

I mean.. you have the info right there on the reel. The lb test and how much of each it should use. Just follow that and you’re good.

But if you dont want to read and just eye ball it… does it cast the line out? Does it catch fish? If so… happy fishing!

Under and it will effect you casting distance. I will always prefer an over spooled reel as I can cut off as needed. Thought I spool my reels perfect.
