My brother and I are going to rattlesnake bar in Loomis CA tomorrow. We are both beginners looking for some wisdom from experienced bank fisherman. Neither of us have had much luck in the year weve been fishing. Id estimate the deepest are in the middle is maybe 20 ft with a fairly even slope up to the bank. (When the water is real low, that was the bank we'd fish from but now its super high and still). We both are aiming for trout but not picky, any fish is a good fish! I've got a light spinning setup and hes a light baitcasting setup. Braid to flouro leaders. How would you fish this? Higher in the water column, digging, spinners, ect? Just looking for any tips from this great community if you're willing to share. Thanks in advance!
