Is this lure/bait set up shitty? Please be honest lol. Someone told me the one on the right is the most versatile, but I haven’t had any luck. I also added corn to the end of my work to up my chances

What are you fishing for? Should be able to get panfish and small bass with the spoon thing on the right. I would suggest finding a different plastic for the jig on the left, small craw, worm, or tube.

Don’t add bait to the end of the spoon. It’ll mess up the action of the lure which is the whole point of using it.

I went through a phase where I was trying to add food to the treble hooks on my spoons and inline spinners, but don’t do it, the food doesn’t stay on the treble hook and no one does that
that spoon lure you’ve got is a versatile lure, you’ve just got to practice casting it out far and reeling it in at different speeds, sometimes slow and sometimes medium speed, and you got to switch spots every twenty minutes; this is not a lure for those dudes with lawn chairs and rod holders and cheetos and a case of beer

One on the right is good for everything, I’m a beginner as well and like to use inline spinners (which are similar) to cover water quick, before switching to a finesse presentation such as wacky rig/ned rig if the fish aren’t active.
