For the stream it was on, it couldn’t have been very much bigger. It jumped and made runs and took me to my reel for the first time for a trout on the fly. I was so used to stripping line to bring in fish it took me a second to realize I needed the reel. I’m pretty proud of this one and probably had more fun catching it than any fish I’ve caught yet.
