Hey guys, I’m not new to fishing myself but my 2 year old wants to join my 4 year old and I when we go

So I ordered her a frozen rod from the states

Anyone got any advice on removing the black marks from the reel cover?

Posting here in hopes Americans might have some insider tips

  1. Try some rubbing alcohol, soap, maybe a slightly abrasive cleaning paste? Idk. If its just cosmetic and the rod still functions i wouldn’t worry too much.

We catch more fish on that rod. Son got a 18” brown on a Lighting McQueen

  3. Look, my bad okay you don’t need to be American to answer 😂 I’m just going off the basis these are more common in America

    I’m sorry guys

  4. Use white spray paint but I wouldn’t worry about it, take her fishing and fish with it.

  5. Wet cloth, magic eraser, pink stuff. It might have already lost its gloss in those spots.

I could tell you how to get rid of them, but I’m European, and you specifically asked for Americans 👍🏻

Just joking. Use some alcohol (it softens the plastic), then scratch with sandpaper, you should have them spread – don’t panic and use alcohol again, et voila.
