So I just recently purchased a pair of betta Uberis about a month ago and apparently they been getting their freak on lol I noticed yesterday that the male made a nice little bubble nest. I didn’t really think anything of it, I thought maybe he was just comfortable and happy in his new home. So I come home from work today and go to feed them. Not only wasn’t the male eating but he was fiercely guarding that nest lol so immediately I go to take a closer look and lo and behold not only are there eggs, but a few tiny fry as well!!! Holy crap I thought. What do I do now 🤦🏻♂️ as I am not prepared nor expecting them to have babies so soon. I’d like for them to survive, at least long enough for me to be able to rehome them but I have no experience in raising betta fry and I don’t know what to do next. I really just wanted to share my experience with you guys but any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Ps. Give the video a sec to focus and you should be able to see some fry if you look really close lol
