Got this little guy today and just want to make sure he’s okay. My boyfriend and I noticed that his eyes look bigger than we’re used to seeing on bettas. He’s approximately 6 months old or younger so I’m wondering, should I be concerned about the size of his eyes/the white rings around them or is this because he’s young/just his anatomy? Otherwise he looks healthy.

Paranoia hehe. He looks great! this might be useful: when I first got mine; they had cloudy eyes and one eye was a bit swollen compared to the others. Probably because of living in a cup. Both resolved after 1.5 weeks of being in nice tanks.
I’ve read here that generally 2 swollen eyes indicate Popeye (infection) and one swollen eye indicates injury (goes away with time)
