Looks like a nice sized bullhead if so that color would be normal.

Typically yellowish color by the rib cage is fatty deposits, and by the looks of it that is quite a chunky catfish. It’s not necessarily abnormal but if you plan on eating I’d let that one go or at least cut off the yellowish meat
