Right know i have a 10-30g super bad telescopik rod from abu garcia and my Question is, Should i buy a 7-25g rod or buy a 20-60g ish pike road instead and use both?
I live in sweden and fish for pike and Perch
If you think i Should get a tougher combo and still use my old 10-30 i would really like som help to find a baitcaster combo for the 20-60g range.

Id personally go with a baitcaster if im throwing 20-60g as I don’t enjoy casting stuff heavier than like 3/8 of an ounce on a spinning rod at all. 20g is 0.7 oz, so you’re well into prime casting reel territory. For the reel, I think its hard to go wrong with a Tat 100 from Japan. I think mine costed like 150 iirc.. I like mine alot, the current gen tatulas are becoming one of my favorite all time baitcasters for ergonomics and they do not disappoint with the casting and overall feel. Good reel for bombing stuff. And I dont really know what to recommend for the rod as im from the US and we target bass, not european fishies.
