Finally got tired of catching bass with a 5” senko and switched it for some top water action. Used a Berkley Choppo maverick size 90, was an instant hit. Biggest bass I’ve caught with a top water so far, guy put up a hell of a fight. A bit more fun fishing top water lures.

very nice catch! I found one of those lures while fishing one time but have yet to use it. Is it just a straight retrieve? do you incorporate little jerks or twitches?
Awesome! That must have been an epic topwater strike! Topwater is, by far, the most exciting way to fish for bass.
