Cut a really good trip to the local river short by getting a new piercing. At the point of trying to pull it out I realise this one in fact did have the barb intact, unlike 99% of the rest of them… FML.

Cut short? I fished a whole day in Alaska with a parachute Adams stuck in my lip lol the grayling were still biting and I wasn’t leaving 🤣
I’m so lucky I haven’t done this. My first time out was so windy I was pelting myself with the fly.
In the water, those flys go in the water.
Yowza.
