Well.. if you only feed enough for some to grow, it will sort itself out via survival of the fittest.
Otherwise, a predator fish would sort it out.
Or, grow them all, and house them until you can sell them or give them away.
Pretty cool. I’d love to have some for my outside tank with guppies
I had the exact problem a few years back. Just offered them for free on Kijiji when they were about an inch. Couldn’t believe how many people would drive crazy distances to get free fish.
Dang my male would essentially kill all of his fry around 2 weeks after they hatched. Then they would breed again, rinse and repeat.
Do you have an LFS that would be interested in trading out juveniles for store credit/cash?
You’d of course have to grow them to a sellable size, but it’s an option.
You can probably take 40 of them to a local pet store and trade them for store credit.
